Adedapo & Megia voted out of ‘AI’
MANILA, Philippines – Thia Megia, the remaining Filipino-American contender on this year’s “American Idol,” was ousted Thursday night (Friday morning in Manila), getting the least number of votes from the show’s followers.
Apparently Megia played it too “safe.” Prior to her elimination, she sang the karaoke favorite “Daniel,” for the episode’s Elton John theme. And though AI judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez considered her performance up to par, it disappointed Randy Jackson.
